Institute for Inspiring Children's Future
Inspiring Children's Futures is a joint initiative at the University of Strathclyde with a collective vision of ensuring that children and young people have what they need to reach their full potential, particularly those who face adversity.
I was commissioned to create a new responsive website for the impact that Covid-19 has had on children’s wellbeing. I also designed the first of the learning reports that can be downloaded from the new website.
The team at Inspiring Children’s Futures developed a new smartphone app to ask questions and collect data to support the wellbeing of children now and in future. I designed an identity for this app to sit alongside it and help tell their story. This identity had to be bold and distinctive. I created the ‘4P’ icon out of their name: Protection, Provision, Participation and Prevention, The letters interact with each other, merge and mix, exactly what I was looking to achieve with this brand. This app is available for free to download in 29 countries over 5 continents.
